Civilians organized by the Palace Quarter Association (CaPE).

Music on the night of Midsummer Night will be provided by Katalin Bartha

On the shortest night of the year, we celebrate the summer solstice.
It is a magical night when almost anything can happen, wishes can come true.
In almost every pagan culture there was a belief that the world was the scene of an eternal struggle between darkness and light.
The winning moment of this fight is the summer solstice.
By lighting a fire, the celebrants not only evoked the warmth and light of the sun, but also wanted to keep harmful spirits away from them.

Performing:
Mirjam Lőrinczi
Marton Jeddi
@solareclipse.officialsite
and violinist Katalin Bartha (Art’s Harmony Studio – Rökk Szilárd u. 11.)
